Hi, I'm Lydia! I'm an aspiring author day-lighting at an animal hospital until I finally finish my book, get published and write full-time ;)

Books are very special to me. They've gotten me through tough times - no matter how hard it may be, a good book always brings comfort. The library and bookstore are my sanctuary. One day I thought, I should express my gratitude for these great books of the world, and show the author how much I appreciate their work. Also: I should shout it to the world!

So the Wishing Library began. I review only books that I loved. If I didn't like a book I don't review it, because I don't believe in bashing someone's work. Reading is very subjective, and just because I didn't like it doesn't mean someone else doesn't!

I love reading books that make me laugh. So if you enjoy humor in your reading material, follow me!

Other random facts about me:

1. I live with my husband and 3 kitty babies in a small condo in Orange County, CA.
2. We plan to move out of state soon due to the crazy cost of living.
3. Our 3 kitties are best buddies and we're spoiled. You can find too-many pictures of them on my Instagram.
4. I moved here from Singapore in 2013. My family has visited me here several times so it's my turn to go.
5. My ethnicity is Chinese, but many tell me I look mixed with another type of Asian.
6. I am working on the millionth rewrite of a YA fantasy novel.
7. I'm adding this on because I like the number 8.
